Hydraulic breaker for mini excavators 2.5–5 t
Many mini excavators on European sites sit in the 2.5–5 t class. The Promove XP200 is built for them: a sound-damped hydraulic breaker (hydraulic hammer) of 230 kg with a 64 mm chisel, rated by Promove for carriers of 2.5–5.2 t, with 3–4.5 t as the optimal range.
On a mini excavator, the hydraulics decide the fit more than the weight. The XP200 needs 40–60 l/min at 100–110 bar, and the relief valve on the excavator is set to 160 bar. Many current 3.5–4 t machines deliver more than 60 l/min on the auxiliary circuit, so the flow has to be limited.
Under 2.5 t: the XP200 is not intended for excavators below 2.5 t operating weight.

- Fit check before payment: machine data and VAT number are checked first; then SEPA proforma or card payment.
- Included: breaker with bolted top plate, hydraulic hoses and a moil point. Quick coupler, adapter plate and adapters are not included. For the XP200 and XP300, the only documented mount is skid steer (SAE J2513); any other coupler or mount is to be confirmed with the manufacturer before we quote.
- CE marked – manufacturer's EU Declaration of Conformity supplied with the machine on delivery
- 12-month warranty from the date of delivery, claims handled through Thunderline. Wear parts (chisels, points, hoses) and damage from misuse, incorrect installation or operation outside the datasheet limits are not covered. Full terms on request.
- Delivery DAP to your address in the EU. Delivery to your business address; unloading by the customer (forklift). A tail lift is not included by default – available on request at an extra charge, quoted per order. The delivery window is confirmed in writing per order.
- For Promove attachments: all EU countries except Estonia and Italy.

Frequently asked questions
My excavator weighs 4.5 t. Is the XP200 right?
The XP200 covers up to 5.2 t, and 4.5 t is the top of its optimal range. From around 4.5 t the heavier Promove XP300 (4–9 t, 300 kg, 80 mm chisel) is also an option.
My machine delivers more than 60 l/min. Is that a problem?
Not if the flow can be limited for the breaker, through the machine settings or a flow control valve. We check this before payment.
What does the fit check involve?
We check weight class, flow, pressure and mounting from your machine data, and confirm fit before any payment is requested.
Is a quick coupler included?
No. The XP200 comes with a bolted top plate (330 × 330 mm), hoses and a moil point. Quick coupler, adapter plate and adapters are not included. For the XP200 and XP300, the only documented mount is skid steer (SAE J2513); any other coupler or mount is to be confirmed with the manufacturer before we quote.
