The Takeuchi TB290-2 weighs 8.57 t with a mono boom or 8.72 t with an offset boom. Both sit in the Promove SG 6.11 class (6–11 t). The offset boom helps when loading trucks and containers.
According to Takeuchi, the first auxiliary circuit delivers up to 100 l/min and the second up to 60 l/min, each at 210 bar. For the grab that means: limit the open/close circuit to 30–40 l/min, and limit the rotation circuit to 10–15 l/min with pressure at max. 150 bar. We agree the settings in the fit check.

- Delivery DAP to your address in the EU. Delivery to your business address; unloading by the customer (forklift). A tail lift is not included by default – available on request at an extra charge, quoted per order. The delivery window is confirmed in writing per order.

B2B only, reverse charge: companies with a valid EU VAT number in the country of delivery only (VIES check). Deliveries within Estonia: Estonian VAT 24% is added. Thunderline OÜ is an Estonian company, so the reverse charge does not apply to Estonian buyers, even with a VAT number.

Frequently asked questions
Mono or offset boom: does it matter?
Both versions are within the SG 6.11 weight class. We still need the version for the fit check, because it changes reach and lifting capacity.
Does the rotation circuit really have to be limited to 150 bar?
Yes. Promove specifies max. 150 bar for rotation. According to Takeuchi the second auxiliary circuit of the TB290-2 works at 210 bar, so it must be limited.
Which hydraulic connections does the grab have?
3/4" BSP for opening/closing and 1/2" BSP for rotation. We clarify matching couplings with you.
Does the warranty cover the rotator?
The warranty applies to the grab as supplied. 12-month warranty from the date of delivery, claims handled through Thunderline. Wear parts (chisels, points, hoses) and damage from misuse, incorrect installation or operation outside the datasheet limits are not covered. Full terms on request.
