Rotating sorting grab for Cat 308 CR
With cab, the Cat 308 CR weighs 8.44–9.11 t and sits in the Promove SG 6.11 class (6–11 t). In demolition and recycling, the grab lets it pre-sort timber, metal and rubble before the container is filled.
Hydraulically the 308 CR is much stronger than the grab needs. Cat states up to 131 l/min for the primary auxiliary circuit and 33 l/min for the secondary, each noting that maximum flow and pressure are not reached at the same time. The SG 6.11 needs 30–40 l/min for opening and closing and 10–15 l/min at max. 150 bar for rotation, so both circuits must be limited. How that works on your machine, we check before payment.

- 12-month warranty from the date of delivery, claims handled through Thunderline. Wear parts (chisels, points, hoses) and damage from misuse, incorrect installation or operation outside the datasheet limits are not covered. Full terms on request.
- Delivery DAP to your address in the EU. Delivery to your business address; unloading by the customer (forklift). A tail lift is not included by default – available on request at an extra charge, quoted per order. The delivery window is confirmed in writing per order.

Frequently asked questions
Is a setting in the monitor enough?
It depends on year of build and hydraulic equipment of your 308 CR. The rotation circuit with max. 150 bar in particular may need an additional relief valve. We clarify this before payment.
How heavy is the grab on the arm?
According to Promove the basic body weighs 490 kg, plus any adapter plate and quick coupler.
How is the grab delivered?
By freight carrier, delivered DAP to your address in the EU. Unloading is your responsibility, so please have a forklift or crane ready. A tail lift is not included by default – available on request at an extra charge, quoted per order.
Can I return the grab if it does not fit?
Returns are only possible by prior agreement (RMA). That is why we check fit before payment. Better to send us the data once too often.
