FAQ – ordering, delivery, fitment and VAT
Quick answers for business buyers of excavator attachments and wear parts from Thunderline, the trading brand of Thunderline OÜ (Tallinn, Estonia). We sell to businesses only (B2B). Questions about the Promove XP200, XP300 and SG 6.11? See the Promove FAQ.
Who can buy from Thunderline?
Businesses only. You need a company name and a valid EU VAT number issued in the country of delivery, verified in VIES. We check the number in VIES before we send a quote. We do not sell to private individuals.
Where do you deliver, and how long does delivery take?
We deliver within the EU only. For Promove attachments: all EU countries except Estonia and Italy. For other products, country exceptions depend on the supplier and are shown at checkout.
Delivery is DAP to your address in the EU. Curbside delivery; unloading by the customer (forklift). A tail lift is not included by default – available on request at an extra charge, quoted per order. Freight is always a separate line, based on destination and weight. Wear parts ship by parcel to selected EU countries; heavy attachments ship by freight.
Availability is confirmed within 1–2 business days. Delivery typically takes 4–10 working days after order confirmation and payment, depending on availability and destination; the exact delivery window is confirmed per order.
Larger orders are quoted by email before you order. Incomplete addresses or carrier delays can extend delivery. Details: Shipping policy.
Are your products original or aftermarket?
Attachments are the manufacturers' genuine products, supplied with the manufacturer's documentation. Where a wear part is aftermarket, for example our J200-compatible bucket teeth and lock pins, the listing says so clearly: "compatible with / suitable for machines using the J200 tooth system". Machine makers' brand names appear only to describe fitment. Buying tips: checklist for J200-compatible wear parts.
How do I check fitment before I order?
Send us your excavator make, model and operating weight, plus the quick coupler or mounting on your machine. For hydraulic hammers and grabs, add the auxiliary hydraulic flow and pressure if you know them. For bucket teeth, add the tooth system, tip style and lock pin, with a photo of the adapter.
Use the fitment check form or email hello@thunderline.eu. Before we quote, we check compatibility with your carrier (weight, quick coupler, hydraulics). For the XP200 and XP300, the only documented mount is skid steer (SAE J2513); any other coupler or mount is to be confirmed with the manufacturer. A quick coupler, adapter plate and adapters are not included with Promove attachments. Guides: How to find the right hammer · Quick coupler or pin-on?
How do I request a quote?
Email hello@thunderline.eu or use the contact page. Please include: excavator make, model and operating weight; the attachment or wear part you need; coupler or mounting; hydraulic flow and pressure for attachments; delivery country and postcode; company name and EU VAT number. We reply during normal EU business hours with a quote in EUR: net prices, freight as a separate line.
Promove attachments and some wear parts can also be ordered online at net prices. Heavy or non-standard freight is confirmed on a quote.
How can I pay?
By SEPA bank transfer against a proforma invoice, or by card at checkout. Payment is only taken (card) or requested (SEPA proforma) after we have checked your VAT number in VIES and confirmed availability. Please use your order number as the payment reference. The invoice is issued by Thunderline OÜ.
Why is no VAT charged?
No VAT is charged by Thunderline OÜ – VAT is accounted for by you in your country of delivery (reverse charge, Art. 141 and 197 Directive 2006/112/EC).
This requires a valid EU VAT number from the country of delivery, which we check in VIES before we send a quote. All prices are net. Total to pay: products + freight (separate line). Delivery DAP (Incoterms 2020).
What warranty applies to attachments?
12-month warranty from the date of delivery, in line with the manufacturer's warranty terms. Claims are handled through Thunderline. Wear parts (chisels, points, hoses) and damage from misuse, incorrect installation or operation outside the manufacturer's limits are not covered. Full terms on request.
What documentation do I get?
Promove attachments: CE marked – manufacturer's EU Declaration of Conformity supplied with the machine on delivery. The datasheet is available on each product page. For other products, the documentation supplied by the manufacturer applies.
What is your returns policy?
Thunderline sells to businesses only, so there is no statutory right of withdrawal. Returns are possible only by prior agreement via a return authorisation (RMA); goods are sent to the address stated in the RMA. Return freight is normally paid by the buyer unless we delivered defective or incorrect goods. Visible damage must be noted on the CMR/delivery note at receipt. Report transport damage within 48 hours of delivery to hello@thunderline.eu, with photos and the order number. Full rules: Returns & Refunds Policy.
When should I replace the bucket tooth and when the lock pin?
Replace the tooth when penetration or edge life is gone. Replace the lock pin when it is bent, mushroomed, cracked, loose or missing – often both together at a service interval. A worn or incorrect pin is a common cause of lost tips. More: Why the J200 lock pin matters · Wear Parts & Tools.
